Anyone have any experience with this? Thanksgiving, turkey, cheesy potatoes, etc. Basically my concern is showing I am not grateful for what my family considers a giving gesture. Truth is, I hardly expect them to accomadate for me, and I am not opposed to cooking a dish to share with everyone, but my family is...weird? i dunno, any experiences with this?

If they know you are vegan, and you bring a dish or two, then they should have no reason to bitch. But they probably will, thats family for ya.

    Everyone's family is weird.

I brought tofurkey to my family's thanksgiving get together and most of my family ended up tryng it and actually liking it. My family wasnt very excepting when it came to me going veg but Ive been that way for 7 years now!! Totally bring a dish and enjoy yourself!!! :)
