    hello!

do you think it is possible to have a friendship with someone you are in love with?

I fell in love 1 1/2 years ago. She was my work colleague until August this year. It was love of first sight from my side. I told her compliments and gave her little gifts. We are on the same wavelenght.
2 weeks ago I wrote her a love letter. I got a letter back from her. Her letter was very resprectful and so cute! said it was really surprising for her.
Are straight women so unsensitive? How could she never noticed my nervousness , my stress marks in my face...oh well...I thought I was an open book for her...
She still wants to be friends. Now I don't know how to act when I'm with her. I mean this is a weird situation now. Now she might think about everything i do twice. What would it be like when we hug again- if we ever hug again...am I still allowed to write her an email from time to time to cheer her up...damn. maybe she should have never known...
Has anyone of you ever had this happen?

    Thanks for your help!

its a hard thing to be rejected, but i'm sure she didn't mean to be insensitive. she might not know many or any homosexuals, and just was a little surprised that some one of the same sex likes her that way, its just an idea that's odd to her, shes not used to it.

as for what to do, well, it would be hard to remain friends, your feelings for her and all, but in the end, i think maybe it would be best. perhaps she will warm up to the idea (though on the same breath, you shouldn't get your hopes up to much), at least you have a good friend by your side :) in the long run, things will ease between you, less tension and such, but it may be uncomfortable in the start. really what it comes down to, what you like about her? is it reasons that could be simply a friendship, or are you attracted for more intement reasons?

in the end you gota decide:

    can you bare the pain?

    and

what do you really want and what do you think she wants? maybe ask her?

feel free to PM me :)
