I posted this same question at the end of an old thread, so excuse the double-post but I need some advice.

I just came across this thread and I still can't decide. I'm going through chemo (long story), but the doc gives me a script for 360 10/325 Perks every month. I don't use em them much cause I'd rather smoke, so I have been just collecting them (have close to a 1000 now), but my doc told me that she'd rather I switch to Roxicodone cause she'd prefer me to not take the Tylenol unless I need it. What I'm wondering is this:

    1. If I'm supposed to be taking 2 10/325's every 4 hours, whats the Roxi equivalent? Is it a 15mg?

    2. What's worth more on the street - 2 10/325's or a 15mg Roxi?

I have had a couple people ask if I'd sell the perks and around here they typically go for 10 each, but I wasn't sure if the Roxi's are worth more. Is it typically still a dollar per mg?

    Thanks,

    Jesse

it depends on if you're staying at the same dose or not- i thought the standard mg in a Roxi was 30mg... but it might be a 5mg or 15mg. it really depends on if you're staying at the same dose of 20mg of oxycodone every 4 hours or not, do you know yet?

and normally i would say that roxi is worth more on the street than percs, but if you're already able to get $1/mg i can't see it going higher than that really.

Damn... I wish I had my hands on 1000 percs.

If you're switching to roxi there shouldn't be much of a difference. It's just oxy by itself, so that's a plus.

That street price is high as shit btw! But if you can seriously sell them for that then go ahead haha, you'll make a good $10,000 if you sell them all lol :p

Round here, .50 cents a mg is the highest it goes, sometimes a bit more depending on supply and demand.

Obviously, 2 percs are 20mg but you have tylenol with it, which makes it bad for snorting, plus it's a bigger pill. The pill chasers are going to be more inclined to go after the 15mg roxi of course. I've paid up to $5 a pill for 10mg percs. Which is high priced. Usually, I get the 10mg oc's for $4 and the 20mg for 8. Just depends on the area.

To answer your question on what's more, the 2 10/325 percs contain more oxy than the 15mg roxi, but if you're taking a lot, then it's wise of your doc to prescribe something without tylenol. Just follow his instructions and go from there depending on how your pain responds. Hope all goes as well as can be expected with the chemo...that's rough.

I must be living in a depressed area. $5 for Oxycodone, Also $5 for 15mg Morphine, same price for 10mg Methadone. I don't know about Heroin, I don't mess with it. When I have extra's and let them go, my prices are low because they don't cost me anything. Maybe $3 for 10/500 Hydro's. I don't use very many Xanax, so I sometimes let the 0.5mg go for $.50 each. That said, don't pm me for drugs. I won't even respond. You'd have to be a member of the people I associate with everyday.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more boring place to live. I live in a town that has a decent-sized VA hospital. As a vet myself, I associate with a lot of vets. There's always someone having surgery or being prescribed pain meds for long-term conditions. Plus, there are guys coming back from Iraq or Afghanistan that need pain meds or anti-anxiety drugs like Xanax. Since they don't have to pay for their prescriptions, they generally don't charge much. Remember the Chris Rock show where he says the government is the biggest drug dealer? Well... :D
