This is exactly why I hate metal music now. Thats right, I said it I HATE METAL. Now dont get me wrong, I used to be the biggest metalhead you'd ever meet. But, it seems like nowadays- thats all metal is now- its just a BUSINESS industry. Back when metal was about making the music and having a passion for it- thats what I loved about it. Now- to me- it just seems more like "Hey, what can we dig up that will make these fools gobble this music up?" It doesnt seem like people have the same passion like they used to have back in the day- anyways, thats just my opinion- you may disagree or agree- thats fine. But, to me, Metal music now is just a BUSINESS, it's not really about the music anymore.
what you describe is what i call Metalcore. sorry but their hasnt been one good American metal band from the US thats been very good.....I wouldn't count Iced Earth or Symphony X.
What did he do wrong? I mean, the article didn't explain why he had his music confiscated, and why he's being investigated. It didn't explain shit.
