This reminds me of my sophomore year of high school, I went for a girl hard, it was infatuation at first sight, haha. I starting to call her to talk on the phone, we hung out together with friends a couple times, and finally I asked her out. I took her out to dinner and then some gay movie she wanted to see. She was acting real shy and distant, but I kind of went with it ignoring it. After the movie we went back to her place and she invited me to watch tv upstairs, so I thought "Sweet!". I sat down while she got us drinks, and she came back and sat on the opposite fucking couch from me. It just felt like she was making a statement, "I only want to be friends, if that". I was so pissed and we sat there for like 5 minutes in silence, it was so boring because I was the one up to that point making conversation, that I finally said fuck this shit, told her I had to go and left right away. I ignored her calls/texts for the next week, and even started talking to another girl who I ended up dating for a year. Somehow this made the previous chick fall madly in love with me for quite awhile, it was actually pretty hilarious, but I was already over it and never tried again with her.

 

Well sounds to me like you missed an oppurtunity neuro....I don't think she was making a statement other than she didn't want you to think she was "slutty" sounds like she was waiting for you to make the move, if you got invited back to her place thats normally a pretty good hint.

 

No actually her friend told me when I got home after the date that the girl said she didn't want to hurt my feelings by saying "no" when I asked her out. My rejection of her is what turned her around. Haha the date was so awkward, I just said why put myself through this, I don't even know why I like this girl. O wait ya I do, she was hot. But not THAT hot.

 

Personality matters alot to me if a chick is hot or not, I hate prude/prissy girls I don't care if they look like jessica alba, she might of told her friends that but also might have given you a "pitty" fuck I just don't get why she would invite you to come inside her place if she didn't expect you to make a move
