Intelligence is the practice of applying abstract concepts and thinking, to known parameters.

The only thing that got humanity to where it is now (electronics, technology, etc) is the build of our body, the recording of observations and data, and civilizations centered around known parameters.

Deer don't have the physical ability to wire a light bulb, and no way to paint on cave walls. Humand do. We have also chosen to do both of these.

I believe that creativity, curiosity and the desire for shared experience played more of a role in the development of humans to the point they are at today; this is where things like writing and shared, understood forms of communication come in to play. For the creation of a form of communication, the desire to do things like wire a light bulb, and the recording of knowledge all seem to come from these traits, and those things were tools to our development as a species imo.

well then, ugh, if you say so. i think though that maybe that is more of a all-encompassing view if reality -- if all things are the deepest expresstion of love. if this is so, how are we to attract one fate over another, to learn? all things are parts of a unitary whole, but there are divisions within the whole.

There is nothing unknown to you, however we have accumulated mentally stupefying habits, "beliefs" that make knowledge seem obscure.
You cannot teach or learn the unconditional but you can remove the conditions
that make the unconditional seem obscure.
From the perspective of the absolute, all temporal circumstance is an abstraction.

    i

Failure to realize this makes people insecure. Some even question their own existence.

There is no "reason" why he exists. "reasons" are something we humans invented, because it takes a conscious entity to have reasons. He is simply one possible arrangement of matter and cells and genes, as you are.
