Wow Maddox was right, there is only one thing PC users can do that MAC users can't and that's SHUT THE FUCK UP!

Ever notice how most Mac users are skinny? It's because of all the calories they burn because they can't shut the fuck up about how great their Macs are. What is it about Apple that makes its users unable to shut their mouths? Everywhere I go, there's another asshole with a Mac preaching about how much better Macs are than PCs. They regurgitate lines directly from Apple's marketing campaign, like "it just works." I have the following rebuttals to this argument:

    1. If everything on a Mac just works, then why does a website called "Mac fix it" exist, assholes? Here are a few choice topics on macfixitforums.com:
    -Login window stuck!
-lower caSe "S" key not working!!
    -Menu bar keeps flashing
    -I can't drag and drop!

Waaaah, boo hoo! I can't drag and drop! Dumbass. Looks like your Macs aren't perfect after all, which leads me to my second point:

    2. Fuck you.

I laughed so hard when I first read this, and then just now reading this thread/post.

i'm not saying everything on macs work, hell sometimes programs will randomly shut off on mine. but guess what? my computer is from 1999, so some errors are to be expected. while using a brand new mac, i have encountered virtually no problems. brand new PC? i can't say the same thing.

weeattoes- I was reading the argument between you and young deadhead.

He has a point. You don't even know enough to look on the front of your computer to see what brand it is, and your computer guy has 7 years of computer schooling, but he is a DJ?

I am conflicted about the whole safety issue, because i used Utorrent and I got a popup message from time warner cable saying i could face charges.

or at least thats what my girlfriend said she saw before she freaked out and deleted utorrent and all my files

Archive.org is a good place for free downloads from bands/artists who allow it. They have an amazing live music section, and a netlabels section. You can usually download individual songs or entire albums depending on your preference. It's 100% legal and virus free. I have been downloading and streaming there for a couple of years with no problems.

as far as Mac vs PC:
if you are a person that wants to use all types of software -> PC
if you are looking for simplicity, are computer illiterate, or are just content for having a half-assed version of PC (minus any virus threat) -> Mac

I think we can parallel this to cars.

i dont know much about cars

but i know enough that all these retards I work with that analyze every noise and smell my car makes and tell me that i need to do this and do that to my car.

well then why do they deliver pizzas instead of fix cars?

It's not really your computer knowledge vs. his, but his credibility. He's a DJ. but years of computer schooling. something isnt right there.

So that means he has a legitimate computer boss job that would warrant 7 years in school for his regular amounts of money?

let me chime in here as well on the limewire situation.. it sucks.. it's also not as safe as torrents.. limewire is through a network.. so you have no idea what you are connecting to.. networks have history/records... also limewire makes connections slightly slower due to the fact that it must go through a network to connect peers.. while torrents are a direct connection..
