I forgot how exactly I got into this band. Oh wait It just came to me. Watching the Alt. Country show at 2:30 in the morning on CMT.

I won't regret that. Awesome band. And their cover of Wagon Wheel is one of my favorite songs.

Outstanding, if little-known band. Why is it the good country acts get sidelined in favor of crap festivals like Shania Twain?

marketing and catering to the lowest common denominator. Support folk music live. Hit up the fests, find the local venue that has it.
I produce 90+ folk/Americana/Singer-songwriter/Old Time/ BG/ and all the new fusions every year, in one location.

I love old crow, I got to see them live the first time I ever heard them. A lot of people don't ever get past wagon wheel, ya really gotta listen to their other songs. Wagon wheel gets over played so badly here cause I live in Johnson City, TN and it mentions it in the song, haha. Every time I go to a bar a band is doing a cover of the song and always stops there so everyone can scream it.

"I caught a trucker out of Philly
    Had a nice long toke
But he's a headed west from the Cumberland Gap
    To Johnson City, Tennessee"

I was listening to wagon wheel in my dorm last year, stereo wasn't even up loud. The guy next door knocks and asks "What's that song called? I hear you listening to it all the time, I like it" That's the only OCMS song I've heard. I'll have to check out the others mentioned.

Little known? Go to any frat/sorority house or high school and everyone will know about Wagon Wheel. Song is way overplayed and not that great. Listen to their old stuff before OCMS. Greetings from wawa is their best CD hands down.
