i was wondering are shrooms legal every where in the us? casue it is a phycadelic so are alot of illegal drugs, and ive never heard of a shroom bust or sumthin like taht. and if they were eaten would they show up on a drug test?
they are legal to have, just not legal to prepare (freeze or dry). they could show up on a drug test if they tested specifically for psilocin, but i don't believe it is part of a standard check.

Depends on the cop. Most likely you will get in some shit. I am not sure what the penalties are for posession of prepared shrooms, but I would just be careful and not speed or drive recklessly while they are in my car... that's always the best bet.
psilocybin-containing mushrooms (even fresh-picked ones) are ILLEGAL in most states within the USSA... state laws vary (i think that florida may allow possession of fresh shrooms, but the cops love to enforce tresspasing laws...) and of course, there are federal laws on the books against 'em... i mean it's like american legislators heve declared war against mother nature in their never-ending battle against drug users... why don't they make laws against poison ivy or death caps or deadly nightshade or strychnos berries? illegalizing poppies, coca, hemp, iboga, psilocybes, khat, peyote... WTF?

yup same here, its great orderin grade A shrooms or goin out pickin sum good shrooms. ive even heard of ppl picking mushrooms right next to the police station, the police just watch cause they cant arrest u......
I'm kinda curious myself as to what the law will do to ya' - in Fl. - if caught with shrooms. Back in the early 70's, we picked 'em in the cow pastures of Coral Springs in the southeastern part of the state. As long as the farmer did'nt want to get us popped for trespassing, the cops could'nt do a damn thing to you, possession was'nt illegal - at that time anyway. Once about 5 a.m. while out pickin' (if you were smart, you got your ass out there with flashlights and beat the other dopers to the punch), me and my buddy had wandered quite a ways from our car - parked in the middle of the field. A deputy sheriff had pulled up and slashed all 4 tires in frustration over not being able to bust us. Bastard. It took us all day to get his car re-tired and to get back home, but we had a helluva shroom party that night! Peace -
Micheal is right shrooms are illegal in the US there may be cops in certain states where they grow in surplus that will be leininet, but I wouldn't ever count on a cop's attitude. it is placed on the same scale as most other drugs. If you get caught with them in a baggie, they have every right to arrest you. If you get caught cultivating them, unless you have PROOF it is for research only, you are in bigger shit (TRUST ME!!) unlike peyote plants which you are allowed to have for decoration.
