Aerogarden idea

Well, an old friend gave me one of these AeroGarden things. And I'm tryin' to figure out exactly what I would need if I wanted to grow some pot. And how exactly I would grow it in there. Not lookin' to have big plants in there, the light doesn't go too high. But enough to do some personal buds, hypothetically. Just out of curiousity.

All I have is the actual AeroGarden. I need to replace the pump, which won't be too hard. And the lights still work. Just needs a good cleaning. Trying to figure out where I could get some pods for it that would be great for bud. And what nutrients I might need.

 

Just bing AeroGarden for parts and nute replacements. I coulda swore there was thread in Grow Rooms where somebody detailed how they used one of these, but I couldn't find it, maybe on another board, if I find one I'll come back and link it for ya:>)

Yeah, I've been lookin' all over the forums for any info and can't find any. As for that link to 420 magazine, it doesn't work. The sooner I can get this started, the better. I've got plenty of seeds, and need somethin' to do this winter.

 

You could perhaps start off in the centermost hole and layer the plant outward into a dense, low-laying shrub??

Second thought, Start it off somewhere else, dont use the aerogarden untill you've sexed it.

No point in all that work only to find it's a male.

Get some Low Ryder pot seeds, those things only grow to about a foot and a half.

 

Hi all sorry to not get to respond sooner................i have been growing with aerogarden for 2years now and it will work well for small grows but first,get an aftermarket pump(one that does 60gal an hour),get the aerogarden newts(and put them in the freezer or they will dissolve at room temps)................what the aerogarden is BEST at is clones....i now grow clones in the aero for 5weeks and then transplant into 5gal buckets then leave in veg(18hours light)for one week then move to bud room with a 400wt hps......grows are much bigger and the taste is soo much better when finishing in soil..........im now growing silver haze and WOW what a bud.....................if you have any questions please ask.ill try to help..........................Dawg here is the jornal from the past grows..hope it helps http://www.mjguide.com/modules.php?name=Journal&file=display&gid=23
