    Well Merri boy.. if you go back to the beginning of this thread and read the OP you will see he/she was inquiring about dreads being taken out. I was simply implying that even dreads that old can be taken out.. you don't have to shave your head like many seem to think.

    so yes you were mistaken. :)

    there's quite a few other things you should consider/know about before getting dreads other than if you have to shave them off or not.
