I'd say a mature mind or perspective is best had before taking hallucinogens

    I voted "other".
Drug use in general is immature.
Generally, it is something you grow out of as you age. With a few exceptions, of course.

i assume you are referring to illicit drugs, because all of us pretty much will be on some form of drugs for the rest of our life and it usually only increases with age.

This is a strange thread anyways a drug is a neutral chemical(s). I don't see how a drug can be mature unless you are talking about something like wine which is better when it's matured or aged. I agree with psygrunge in a sense to get the most out of the psychedelic experience it takes a mature mind for hallucinogens. Most other drugs don't have the same kind of flexibility in experience as hallucinogens in my opinon. But plenty of teenagers and those who want to 'trip out' use hallucinogens as well and I am even guilty of using them occasionally in that fashion.

man yall are crazy. with no doubt the most mature drug is heroin and crack, because people that can take those drugs recreationally, with no ill effect on their personal, social life etc because of their occasional and spaced out usage have to have their shit together because if you don't that shit will get ya!

I can not vote, bc any drug can be used wrongly and immaturely. and there isn o such thing as an mature drug, or immature one. I think the op means not the drugs being immature in itself but the people who use them and their maturity towards the drugs. but anyways. I wouldnt say of these are the most needing of not being abused or being abused, bc all of them can be hurtful if abused.

Dumb thread. I just read that as "which one of these drugs will REALLY make me look like a big boy?"

i would say hallucinogens because you need to be mentally mature to embark on a psychedelic journey of the mind. You must first prepare yourself physically and then mentally for your embark and be prepared to receive all of the wisdom and knowledge which presents itself to you on your journey.

Calling a drug mature leads to elitism, which in itself is very immature. However, I feel that low doses of opioids are very mature (contrary to what most people think). 15mg Oxycodone allows the mind to calm down enough to view problems from a new perspective without any distractions. You can also focus (at least I can) on things like music in an intelligent manner.
