i hooked up with my best friends kind ex kinda girlfriend

ok this sucks. about a 9 months ago. my best friend got in an accident and was in the hospital for awhile, and while he was in the hospital his girlfriend was completely broken down. she was at my house everyday that week crying. and me and her got sooooo close after that happened. and fast forward a couple weeks, they break up were still close, and hes still my best friend so im kinda on the fence about whos side im on. one day shes over at my house and we kiss. and that happend for about 2 weeks after that. till she said she cant do it anymore, and we stopped about a month later, it happened again. and this time it ended cuz she kissed him one day while i was over at his house and it wasnt that big of a deal i new we werent going to last and i was glad they were back together, she didnt realize that i saw her kiss him, she came up to me that same day and tried to kiss me and i told her no. fast forwrd to now. they are still going through a pretty nasty breakup and me and him are closer than ever. she got mad about how good of friends me and him are and how he doesnt really care about anything she does and she told him about us. he called me and asked me and i said, yea it happend more thasn once, it happened a couple times and that i was really sorry. i really need some help, where do i go from here. what do i say to him??? i have almost no other real friends except for fhim and i dont want him to hate me now.

 

explain to him what happened. Obviously that girl came to you in her time of need, and it's only normal for you to feel closer to her after that much time has passed. You and the girl are no longer together, so I'm sure your friend will understand if you tell it from the beginning. It seems like it's a complicated situation, and it may take time for you to explain to your friend what happened.

dude you broke the bro code: "bros before hoes" the only way you can fix this is if you tell the girl you cant talk/hang out with her anymore and so does your buddy because obviously this girl isnt good for either of you.

 

That tells you how much character she has.
Also, Magiczipperman is right. If your friend doesn't come before this characterless girl then why should he even bother with you?
