hey, i have a court ordered substance abuse evaluation that im going to have to take sometime before jan 20th. Im trying to figure out if im going to have to take a urinalysis test or not. I live in virginia, im not sure if it differs from state to state. ive tried looking it up, but i haven't found a straight answer yet. I need to do this substance abuse evaluation in order to get off my 6 months of unsupervised probation.

Im not clean right now and its starting to get pretty close to the dead line.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They usually make you do a UA when you take a court ordered sub abuse test.

IDK about your state in general, but I would plan on taking one. Or get quick fix.

they have the option of saliva--hair-blood or urine----ua's cheapest so they usually go by that--stay cleanfor a minute you have =your life of drugs avaiable just get off that paper--stay clean for a minute or youll regret it for life----trust me i dont steer people wrong---peace

ive talked to some people i know, and it looks like im not going to get tested. ive heard that you take a little survey test that will tell them if your addicted to any substances. you also talk to a doctor who asks you questions about drugs.

ide still like to hear what has happened to other people.

I would not take the chance if it was me. Just take 3 weeks off and be squeaky clean, its worth the piece of mind not having anything to worry about. Your life is in their hands as long as your in the system, they would like nothing more than to keep you there. As soon as you walk out the door you can smoke to your hearts content. Just think how low your tolerance will be by then.

Well when my husband got a DUI he had to get an evaluation. They piss tested him, did a verbal survey and concluded that he was not an alcoholic and he didn't have to do anything else. They signed him off. Act like a normal person who doesn't do drugs and you should be ok. Matters on what kind of trouble you are in.

He pretty much told them he doesn't do drugs, he doesn't drink often and that it was a mistake to drink and drive.. That's about it. If you tell them you drink all the time or smoke weed or something else, then they are going to put your through treatment.

yeah, don't tell them what drugs you've done. They will say that your answer doesn't matter but it does. Also if you know that they know that you've done something, tell them that you've done it but don't tell them anything they dont already know. If you got caught with a drug still say you don't do drugs, that you just had it on you that night and you fucked up. The more shit you tell them the more extra shit they will make you do.

Yeah, do not, repeat do not think honesty will get you anywhere. I lied my ass off for my first one and got 4 months rehab, i told the truth this time and i'm still in going on 7 months and no end in sight.

dont tell them shit, stay clean from anything that stays in your system for more than a day or so (or from everything if you can). but dont say anything about your previous or current drug use, and if u have to, lie unless there is someone that will say differently( parents etc..)
usually a substance abuse evaluation is just that, an evaluation.
But, to be safe, you dont want to fail if they do test you
