I always recommend Louis Jadot Beaujolais-not too expensive-easy to drink. A good red french wine. I can drink this all night. And it goes with everything.
i went with B&G Bistro Pinot Noir.. how can i make the hot choco? just mix a bit of water in with the chocolate and add to hot milk? @Bailey.. yes
You guys are adorable. Are you surprising her? My cheeks hurts from smiling cause this is just toooo cute
I call this one my every day drinking wine. The Beaujolais Villages by Louis Jardot is by far my favorite everyday wine. I used to call it porch drinking wine because that was where I like to have a glass or two after I got home from work, that was before I started to smoke weed and then well, the porch came in handy for that as well.
B&G is good stuff. Nice choice. Hot coco is just milk and chocolate. Heat and serve, put it on low half way though dinner. Water can cause the chocolate to get grainy.
i told her i was cooking for her.. thats about it.. she doesn't know how all out im going.. im gonna ask her if she wants to make it more serious tonight
You made amazing food. Good wine. And 15 pages.... Enjoy the night. Have fun. Talk tomorrow-maybe during breakfast.
If it comes up tonight then talk a little about it. Maybe throw a little hint in here or there. It's always cool when you've never referred to a girl as your girl friend before just to call her that in passing. She'll notice. You'll see her mood change. Her eyes light up. "yea I told my friends that I was going to hang out with my girl friend tonight".
Blackstone Napa Valley Merlot. $14 a bottle. The regular Blackstone isn't as good, that one is like $7 a bottle..the Napa one is great. I use to work at a wine store, I tried a lot of different ones.
maybe hot chocolate with some bailey's? im a sucker for bailey's. and im all goofy smiles too. how romantic, she'd be retarded to say no!
You guys (and girls) are making me feel soooooo bad. I feel like eveeryone to know about wine, but i don't. I feel so stupid. I was going to suggest a wine cooler Lol. Thanks, Rasta Fingers
Dude! You are 15, you are not supposed to know about wine, women or food for that matter. I am a Chef and experienced Beverage Manager I have had tons of wine training and I currently work in Catering Food Sales. So, don't worry about it. If you ever want to know anything about food and wine just ask.
@ Eric, I want details. I am sure others would want all the other details, I just want to know how the evening went over. Looking forward to the story.
