    Guy movie?

personally, i loved it, but my friend who is a female producer of note didn't like it and called it a "guy movie". but my daughter (who is wierd at best) loved it too.

    opinions?

I wouldn't see it just because the title is so ridiculous.

Why a guy movie, I wonder? I didn't get that impression from the previews and I'm slightly interested.

There's alot of star wars references. It verges parody.
But, without giving anything away, the twist is LSD. Go see it!
    it busted me up.

It's a great movie, if you really pay attention you'll see the movie is about what we're all about, love and freedom. They might have believed strange unrealistic ideas, but they had fun, they loved life, and they did it for good, so as not to be violent or fight. The twist was great, and oddly enough I saw it coming. I loved the movie and it's actually one of my favourites of all time now.

I'd like to read the book before I see the movie. I read the Wikipedia article and it made it sound as if the book is based on actual events. If that's true, it would give the movie another whole dimension. It does look pretty funny though.

I saw this movie last week. Gotta say I was very disappointed. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I just found it very stoooopid. Not funny by any strecth of the imagination, just stooopid.
