How come I feel like this..

    yeah well if your having worries and cares why are you smoking weed???? even though you quit hard drugs your still messing yourself up smoking weed. weed is for the free relaxed mind only! weed has a stonger affect on emotions than most people think. I know many regular potheads who are all emotional and act bi-polar and shit and have melt downs and so forth. people like to say weed helps with that stuff but the truth is it actually makes that kind of stuff worse. the best remedy for healing the mind is no drugs, meditation, and exercise. and if you need an occasional substance have a few beers to help relax you(though alcohol affects diffrent people diffrently so maybe not). so take my recommendation and go running. Even if you dislike running once its a regular thing and your conditioning goes up you will enjoy it trust me.

    Yeah putting shitload chemicals into your brain fuck it up, but you can bounce back, you just gotta go about it in the proper ways...

    i started walking, and doing a lil bit of work outs, i feel better.

    fruits, veggies, eating the "good stuff" is really good for you,

    all this stuff gets your brain back into whack man... im learning this, so exercise good habits, not bad ones.

    You took drugs because you had problems, now you have more problems from taken drugs, so you correct those problems to get away from the problems created by drugs.

    I'm not judging - I'm there myself.

    Honestly, someone suggested I try meditation.. And I'm prolly going to. They said it works on the same parts of the brain as other drugs. I'm about to start reading this book that deals with meditation..

    Anyone think it will work?

    Meditation is good but please keep in mind that it's not a quick fix. It requires practice and time.

    Is there a particular kind of meditation/s you're looking at?

    Hmmm.. I'm looking for the kind that will help me find my purpose in life.. make me less of an angry guy.. and the stress relieving kind.. :]

    Meditation most defiantly works, I do it myself often. Allot of the time its luck - something will happen and you will change. People that say you can make yourself change - it never really works.

    Place yourself in a quite area where you can relax, sit in a comfortable position - close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing.

    Listen to your breathing, intensely - this will stop your mind wondering from other thoughts. For your first time you should be able to go from 2-5 mins before your mind becomes active again. The more your practice the longer you can go for and the more refreshed you become.

    Take up an art - Tai chi is good as it concentrates on the energy chi, balance, strength and harmony.
