I'm not exactly New to this Site, but I just Now figured out how to Actually post one of these threads For starters I am sweet 17 and my birthday is in June! I am still in School, but lucky me, I'm homeschooled (online) and I only say that because Regular school was totally Wacko for Meh!!!! Anyways, I was born in Kentucky, raised in Ohio. My mom cannot work , So im purty much around her all the time. Something Uniquie about me is I stay in the House everyday... Infact I dont even Remember the last time I've gone outside!! So I spend Half of the day sleeping, and the other Half on homework, housework, and the getting online... Mostly to listin to Music! I am an outcast so the best thing for me is to hear Music, instead of talking to other people about problems that I'm having and Such. I'm also very Nice and Understandable. That's all about Me!!!! :seeya:
Hi there FC, and a belated welcome to HF, you really should get out and socialize more though, nothing makes me feel better than going out and kicking a stranger in the knee.. Peace
Hi FC1 - Welcome to the forum. You should meet lot's of people to share your worries with - but we are far short of warm blooded skin covered humans. Nothing drains the blues like a good hug. Keep posting - your intro concerns me - everybody needs somebody. Keep in touch - some of us have experienced just about everything and would love to share our collective experiences and advice.
Hey, Flowerchild, stay strong, stay true, I was once like you. I actually still am. You need to find people like yourself to hang with. Society is full of outcasts but you can't find them unless you put yourself out there. If you love animals you could volunteer at a shelter, they are full of people who give in a world full of takers. Peace and Love.
Hello again FlowerChild! It's sweet that you're able to post now! Yay! Nice meeting you a second time!
Hello Flowerchild1. Welcome in. Did you ever see the Southpark where Cartman did homeschool? Hilarious! Well I wish you luck at all your endeavours. Have fun.
First, Thank you all for the nice replys Michael Phelps, No, I havent seen that Southpark episode Lol. I mostly stick to the Family Guy series more than anything To every 1 else who Replied, Im Actually Ok with staying home all the time, so Do not be concerned! Music is a Great way to release Stress, Honestly I'm alright with Life, no Doubt. Ddoright, I can Understand where You're coming from, and I love Hugs more than Anything!!! I had a Best friend for Several years, She was the Only one I talked to When it came to Bad feelings or Thoughts. Time changes Ppl, ya Know?? When She didn't Want to Listen anymore, I didn't want to Talk anymore. Anways, Thanks again Every 1 and have a Great evening!! I'm off, Hugssss and Happy Holidays!!!
Welcome youngun.... Please read this.... http://www.scientificamerican.com/article.cfm?id=moral-call-of-the-wild&sc=MND_20091223 Zen
Hi zencoyote Sorry for the extremely late relply. But... I took a quick glimse at the site u posted. U have to understand though that every one is unique and this is how I like to live life. An example would be that most people I've talked to said they cant do homeschooling because they would miss their friends. Me on the other hand, I love it!! Whether I was the kewlest person in the school (yeah right) or the biggest nerd ever, bottom line was I didn't like regular school and never will. Getting away from all the drama that happens and the popularity that ppl push on others made me understand a whole other world out there. And it's Beatuiful My goals for now are to get good grades and to help my sick mother around the house. She's not dying but she has MS and a couple other diseases that "could" lead to cancer But I always have a positive attitude about it because it hasn't happened yet so we can only hope for the best So I'll worry about otuside when the time comes for a job and such, but now's not really the time. Thanks for your concern
I had a dream about Kentucky last night. I was born in Corbin, Kentucky. Anyway, I was walking through this wonderful, woodsy park and the southern sun felt so good shining down on my face. This is kind of unusal, since I have (a benign form of) skin cancer and always try to avoid the sun. But the warmth of the sun felt SO good. Guess it has something to do with foggy, dark winter days in Nova Scotia. It snowed yet AGAIN today. Yipes! Oh where is the sun. . .? Keep studying and you will do well in life. Sounds like you are very industrious, and the way you look after your mother is ADMIRABLE. You sound like a very good person.
BTW, when I lived in Manhattan in the 1960's, my girlfriend's friend was dating Tom Petty (he was just emerging at that time). We went over to her house and he was there. He was very quiet and was doing some kind of drugs, I forget what. He had his acoustic guitar with him - I think he was doing a gig in town somewhere. I wasn't very aware of who he was at the time, only that he was becoming famous. The apartment was in the West Village or Greenwich Village.
