I'm not embarrassed to have liked any band. It was fun at the time. I like searching youtube for vids of the old songs my sister and I used to sing to. (TLC, Stacy Orico, Linkin Park, Christina Agulera, etc, etc...)
I'm the same. I use to LOVE Blink 182 and Meatloaf. I still like a few songs from both of them. I'm a sucker for a well constructed pop song that has great hooks and melody. No matter how 'crappy' the artist is, if they've written a song that is catchy, makes you tap your foot, or gets stuck in your head, then they've written a good song coming from the point of view of the music industry.
What is wrong with Green Day? I still like Dookie. I have no interest in Fat Boy Slim or Lords of Acid anymore. I use to love listening to their albums but now they do nothing for me. Not embarrassed though. I never liked Linkin Park....I still cant believe people go see them in concert and shit....daymn these kids today have no taste. Limp Bizkit is the worst...you should be embarrassed cause those albums are going to be playing in Hell. The albums I bought when I was in junior high were Elastica and Offspring and Butthole Surfers.....once I got stoned and heard some Pink Floyd I finally could appreciate music.
AFI, what the hell. I loved them way back when though, when they were still cool and All Hallows EP and The Art of Drowning was all that I knew! Then Sing the Sorrow came out and it all went downhill after that. I still have them on my iPod though so I am still pretty gay
Whaaat... There's nothing wrong with the grateful dead. But for me it's either kiss or fall out boy. I think probably kiss is the worst, I mean, gross.
britney spears... i used to sing those songs in the mirror with a hair brush in the most serious way and me and my girls used to act retarded listening to the spice girls... i went through this hip hoppy stage that was pretty emabarassing as well. also when that james blunt album came out... i must say.. i enjoyed it every night before i went to bed.. far more than could ever be respectable
