Anyone here seen this? Surely someone here must have. I just watched it today and it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. I was so stoned while I was watchin' it. It was so fuckin' sick.

I haven't saw it yet, but I wanted to.
Everyone I talked to that has saw it said it sucked really bad :(
That kinda swayed me from wanting to see it.

I did hear there's a lot of dicks and furry vaginas, though! :cheers2:

I thought it was boring until the Music from Woodstock kicked in (especially the acid trip) then it was cool

There sure is quite a bit of .... very digstusting nudity.

But the acid trip in the movie is awesome. I don't know why I liked that movie so much, but it sure was fun to watch.

I'll probably end up watching it anyway, I love anything dealing with woodstock.

    it was decent..

like none of the music, and there coulda been more scenes of the festival.. and less of elliots boring "coming into his sexuality" story..

cool acid trip scene though, and some of the parts of the movie did a good job of getting the point across.. overall though, i was dissapointed. if i had to rate it i'd say 7/10..

to be fair my expectations were kinda high i suppose, being a woodstock comedy and all..

    I heard it was mediocre.
Didn't see it though, so I can't judge.

i loved this movie... i think people who did not like it were expecting another Music documentary style movie about Woodstock.. this movie was about the people that made woodstock happen.. not the musicians that played there...

I like him as a comedian, but I was kinda confused as to why they picked him for the movie.

i had read about it before it came out so i did know what it was going to be about.. there was a couple shows like dateline or 60 minutes or something that did some pieces about the real life story back in august, so i remember watching a couple of those too...i didnt see it till just a week or so ago, i downloaded it.

i just think it coulda been done better... emile hirsch did a pretty good job though.. his character was one of the few i found more interesting.. among the acid hippies, and the cross dresser guy... eugene levy was well cast as yasgur too..

the actor who played elliot really killed it for me.. i didnt think he did a great job

Well, I was prepared it will be not music or documentary movie and I really dislike it.
In my opinion: shallow action, cheap humour, bad acting and people who made this film have never nothing to do the with hippies or 60´s era. The whole picture of festival, hippies and characters was build on the myths or scenes taking from Wadleigh´s movie without reading in lines. People who put leather waist on them and guess they are hippies. And I have never seen those fresh and clean looking hippie people by the way :))

Guy who starred Michael Lang saw him maybe in the script. I agree that Max Yasgur had pretty successful copy in the movie but also repeating one stupid answer like he love those beautiful people only because he was good tradesman.

Very bad using of music...clarinet on the beginning was so annoying and I was thinking whole time when I forgot to cut off my mp3 player. Or using of Doors song which have nothing to do with festival.

In my opinion bad, very bad.

I saw it when it came out. It was kinda boring in some parts but the part when he's tripping and the crowd turns into a huge wave was beautiful and amazing.Damn if I could have been at Woodstock.Idk if it;s a movie I'd buy though.maybe
