the bible is the only one i really know of... but only part of that is an astronaut's story, and even then it's written in 3rd party perspective by people who lived 2000 years ago, so not really useful at all.
I'm thinking that juxtaposing terms like "ancient" and "astronaut" might be generating the confusion. Are you interested in early space exploration from the early 60's and cold war era technological advances related to the aerospace industry? Is there an historical perspective you're interested in researching?

Wikipedia articles use sources. There are at least four or five books quoted as sources in that article. Bingo! You might have to sift through it though.
Good morning, first I thought about suggesting the writings of Jesco von Puttkamer etc., but then I clicked on the wikipedia link. First thing I saw was the name Erich von Daeniken. Holy cow, how would one define a 'good book' about this topic? Regards Gyro
Regrettably I had to trim my cable services to accommodate new debt that I felt needed to be paid as quickly as possible so I no longer get History Channel- which was one of the very few options I actually took advantage of for the $70 per month extra I had been paying. The irony of it being aired on x-mas isn't lost on me though...
Chariots of the Gods was the groundbreaking book of its time, but i would highly recommend the 12th Planet series of books by Z. Sitchin - it is one wild ride, and chock full o' goodies to ponder
