does anyone really give a damn about 'balloon boy'?

this has to be THE most idiotic snipit of "news" i have ever had the misfortune to konw about.

 

I did.

...once upon a time.

 

I chose the last option.

 

i looked into this after seeing a question in a poll on facebook, which asked 'should balloon boys parents go to jail?' that sparked my curiosity. i think the whole thing is actually quite humorous. but then these people (apparently 79% of 200k+) are ready to crucify the parents.

 

i think it was truly a bad way for publicity; and putting their children in the spotlight for lies is quite ridiculous. but hearing some people rant and rave about how they put emergency personal in danger and whatnot, that's just ridiculous. wasted time, yes, put lives in danger, no. some people just get worked up over something just so they can explode with their own filthy words. just listen to nancy grace and the people on her show, my goodness i'm sorry but that's the worst excuse for a news show, ever.

 

They all could just drop off the face of the planet.. Really. What a bunch of crap the US public fall for and bite into...

 

all part of the diversion... you know, so we don't look behind the curtain
