I takes a lot of concentration and focus, to remain aware while your body drifts off to sleep. It will probably take a few nights to get used to it.
It's euphoric and it feels like you are falling, which is why it is easy to just give in and die and drift off to sleep. You still have to perservere even after the euphoria sets in.
Hearing voices is extremely common. Whether it is external being wandering a foreign plane, or the ramblings of your own subconscious, I do not know, but either way they are very entertaining, that is, if you cahn understand them.

they weren't exactly creepy the they just had a suspicous vibe. i know that makes no sense to you, but i really think the sensations are different for everybody. i would suggest using teas that help to induce lucid and vivid dreams, though i have never used them i hear they are very helpful.
