lol. take the large files that are taking up space. put them on a cd. delete the large files off your computer. if you want to be able to use that program, put the large files back on your hard drive using the cd.

    .....becky.....what are programs comprised of?
    *you speaking* files?
    very good.
take the directory, click and drag it over your cd drive, when all the files have copied, delete the directory. there will still be system files on your comp, but those don't take up nearly as much space and you can't be sure you can copy them all, so its best to just work with the large files since you have no reinstall.
to answer your question, unless you get the product cd, you can't reinstall it after you uninstall it. if your just moving files around though, you can easily put the missing files back by clicking and dragging from your cd drive.

files are 99.99999999% of the time compressed on the discs, just copying them over probably wont work as you will run out of space on the disc and judging from what she said in that thread, the entire thing is huge, which means she will have to have a DVD burner or a lot of CD-rs or CD-RWs, which cost money
downloading this shouldnt be a problem unless you have a slow computer, you are not stealing it cause it came with the computer, and since they didnt give you any means of reinstalling it, it shouldnt be considered stealing in any way
the above might look like jibberish, but its the truth and.....

    whoopdido!

so she can just copy the files onto 2 discs then

it won't be stealing if she downloads them later, just like downloading an mp3 is legal if you own the cd....but when you download huge assed programs like that you end up with a shit load of ad ware and viruses
