So just new to this thought id say hey to everyone. Im from Dublin,Ireland just back from living in Thailand and heading to south america in a few months. Look forward to talkin to as many of you as possible!! So Happy xmas & new year to all!! Peace
eace:Greetings from an ancient American hippy. Glad your here. Looks like you've traveled around a good bit. Must be nice. I've hardly ever left the US. Peace and Love
Salutaions Ddoright.. Thanks for the warm welcome!! yea i have traveled since i was 17 so i have seen a good bit of the world. i wouldnt havehad to do much if i was american tho, so much to see and do there that you can spend a full life and still not see the entire country. ireland however you can see all of in about 2-3 weeks!! haha
eace:I hope this question is not out of line but I would love to know. How are you able to finance your world travel. My son is 30 and he struggles just to pay living expenses. Such travels as yours are only a dream. When I was about your age, I did take a few short term trips - ie: Jamaca. Since I required very little (as is the hippy style) I would work a while and then book a flight. I have seen a bit of the US which has endless interesting things to see. I would love to see Ireland - I'm not sure exactly why - put it has such an aura of beauty and peace about it. (perhaps promoted by the Irish Tourist Board)
Questions should never be out of line!! i left school early and worked as a plumber for a about 6 months a year in between my travels. did this for 6 years saw a good bit but decided that i needed to put my head down do some work so i can fund my biggest journey of all. south america then central and i hope north america for as long as i can. my folks are old school hippys so they understand the want to get away and LIVE so they've always made it easy for me and help wen they can, also my older bro comes too so its cool we share everythin so we never really get stuck. Pretty good at talkin our way into food money or jobs. learned fron the best. (folks) ireland has something about it that a lot of people feel 'at home' wen they come here, but i want more for now.
