Just got back from the sickest show - Trans Siberian Orchestra

Jesus Christ. I just saw the sickest fucking thing of my life. These guys were phenomenal. It's classic christmas tunes meets heavy fuckin' metal.

This was the best stage show I've ever seen. It blew KISS's away and Metallica's didn't even compare to this. Lights, Explosions, everything. It was fucked up.

One of my favourite guitarists (Alex Skolnick) was there. He's in a band called Testament. I've seen him before with his band but this time was even better because he was ripping through insane solo's all night.

Infuckingsane.

It was a 3 hour long show, and that's fucked up. The first half was all christmas shit but the second half was insane metal shit with an orchestra. It was awesome. The old people in the crowd were probably shitting their pants because they thought it was gonna be all nice and pleasant.

I've heard awesome things about their live shows. My friend wants to go see them while tripping... I can't really get into the music at all.

 

I took my mother to see this when they came to Albany earlier this month. Mad good show for sure. The light and pyro show was pretty awesome as well.

 

I seen this last year, and a few years before that.. good stuff...

 

Damn. My mom is a big TSO fan and she used to always ask me if I wanted to go to one of their shows, I always declined.

I totally forgot about the floating stage too! I was curious when they started to strap themselves to the poles so they don't fall off I guess.

did TSO have the concert in the day time? when they were here last the concert was 3pm afternoon.. last times i seen them it was night time.. why I didnt go this year.
