Subliminal love tapes: angering or flatterring

A man in tries using subliminal love tapes to seduce you or make you fall in love with him. Would you be angry because he did not try to win you over the natural way? Or would you be flattered because he likes you that much? Other? (please specify)

 

I'd think he was a total freak and get the fuck away from him.

 

Gotta agree with Zorba. I had a boyfriend that kept whispering "sex" in my ear when he thought I was asleep, trying to get me to put out. I wasn't in a position to get away from him at the time, and later on he turned into a total abusive nutjob.

It's a parapsychologial version of date rape: making you want what you wouldn't naturally. It doesn't matter whether such things work or not, the intent is there. What will he try when it doesn't work? Try other methods of "convincing" you?

The entire situation of a man having that level access and control of a woman's aural space sounds creepy.
Even if he chooses not to use that access for subliminal self-advertising.
