i know you just bought a vape, and hadn't completely figured it out.. so heres something i found on another forum when i was surfing the web.. i thought it was kinda interesting and thought about how you just got that v-tower so i figured id post it here.. maybe some other people on here with vaporizers will find it interesting too.. which is why i didnt just pm you..anyways it clearly states there hasnt been any research in vaping with these temps .. remember these are boiling points of the cannabinoids/terpenes in cannabis.. they are all accurate though, so itd be interesting to see what effect (if any) vaporizing with these numbers as a guideline has on the marijuana high.. dont really seem like it would make a huge difference in terms of effects to me.. but again just something i found interesting, maybe some of you will too ========================================================= As you can see, many phytocannabinoids other than THC, as well as terpenoids, have boiling points at much higher than THC, and play an active part in the "high". Depending on what temperature the vaporizer is set at it's possible that all of the phytocannabinoids in a smoke stream aren't all present in vapor...... of course, that's just an idea - there hasn't been any conclusive study yet. But it's interesting to toss these ideas around Read and enjoy while vaping, clinton ================================================== ==================== Δ-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) Boiling point: 157*C / 314.6 degree Fahrenheit Properties: Euphoriant, Analgesic, Antiinflammatory, Antioxidant, Antiemetic cannabidiol (CBD) Boiling point: 160-180*C / 320-356 degree Fahrenheit Properties: Anxiolytic, Analgesic, Antipsychotic, Antiinflammatory, Antioxidant, Antispasmodic Cannabinol (CBN) Boiling point: 185*C / 365 degree Fahrenheit Properties: Oxidation, breakdown, product, Sedative, Antibiotic cannabichromene (CBC) Boiling point: 220*C / 428 degree Fahrenheit Properties: Antiinflammatory, Antibiotic, Antifungal Δ-8-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ-8-THC) Boiling point: 175-178*C / 347-352.4 degree Fahrenheit Properties: Resembles Δ-9-THC, Less psychoactive, More stable Antiemetic tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV) Boiling point: < 220*C / <428 degree Fahrenheit Properties: Analgesic, Euphoriant Terpenoid essential oils, their boiling points, and properties β-myrcene Boiling point: 166-168*C / 330.8-334.4 degree Fahrenheit Properties: Analgesic. My friends always kept their vapes around 365-370 and I found that to work the best overall. I've seen people turn it up to 420 (and they actually lol at that) and people keep it in the low 300's.
