So im not a HUGE metal fan but i do love old heavy metal and especially priest metallica and megadeth but im not sure how i feel about megadeth today. It seems since The System Has Failed Mustaine has been way too political. I like songs that actually mean something but it just seems to me like its a bit much. Anyone else feel like that? He is one of my favorite guitarists but i like the older stuff better
He tries to write "smart" lyrics. Sometimes he can pull off a cool line but most of the time he sounds like an idiot. He needs to write more songs like "the mechanix"..... Although that's like asking James Hetfield to write songs like "Leper Messiah"..... And we all know that's not gonna happen. Although I did like Endgame.
I enjoy the fact that he is trying to make thrash metal a bit more political. Although , yeah he should stick with crazy,cool guitar solos.
ya i after listening to endgame i like it alot better then the last two but eh o well its all still good stuff
