i live at about 8,000 ft above sea level.
denver has decriminalized marijuana (up to one ounce) and voters told the police to fucking lay off, and make marijuana arrests their lowest priority (aka, they can and will still arrest you to make their porky penises look bigger)
MMJ liscences/ cards are incredibly easy to get, and dispensaries are finding that the law can stand with them. by getting a liscence you can be "legal" anyplace in this state.

the up to 1 ounce in denver and low priority is just to help potheads breathe easier, getting an mmj liscense is the safest way to be.

    Let's get this straight.

The state of Colorado has decriminalized marijuana possession (one ounce or less) to a $100 ticket.
The state of Colorado offers MMJ.
The city of Denver voted to LEGALIZE possession of less than one ounce to those that are 21 or older.***

    Federal>State>Local
    Illegal>Decriminalized>Legalized (without MMJ)
    Illegal>Legalized>Legalized (with MMJ)

The mayor of Denver wants the police force to continue using the STATE law to ticket those caught for possession. Smoking in public is not legal.

Why is this so hard to comprehend?

hey, i wasnt trying to contradict anybody, thats just the law as i understand it. the OP is behind on the times as far as this topic is concerned, the new news in CO is the dispensaries popping up, and regular people being able to make money on it legally (at least at the state level)
    denvers laws are old news.

I'm not trying to bash you, your post just probably confused them even more.

OP apparently just wants to smoke in public but I doubt he is 21, so he can't even legally possess. Does CO let you get a MMJ license at 18?

Largeamount is too busy trolling. My last post was directed to him mostly.

Here's your first post. Why don't you read it again. I answered your questions about legality and "smoking a dutch at a broncos game". Remember, these were "all questions and things ive been wondering".

As far as being an all knowing God, if that is some code word for "enough brain cells to use Google", then yes that is something I have that you may be lacking. All I used was Denver+legalized+marijuana and every top result told me that Denver voters legalized marijuana and some articles even mentioned not being able to smoke in public, being 21+, etc.

As far as me trying to prove you wrong..........no idea what you're talking about. You were asking questions, so if you didn't make a statement there's not much I can argue against. Mother's Love contributed to this thread but didn't mention the legality in Denver. She touched a little more MMJ and how that was a safe alternative. No one else contributed to this thread unless you want to call largeamount's trolling a "contribution".

This thread needs to be closed. Your questions were answered. Next time, try Google first.

the real question is, does anybody really give a shit about the particulars of the marijuana laws in Denver, or do we just like to be self righteous on the internet?
