you are a fish in a stream.. swim where you like in your stream..

get stuck in a tiny pool..

    swim to the ocean..

    eat smaller fish..

    get eaten by bigger fish..

but don't stay in one place to long or you may die!

I'd rather a choice between a Wagnerian Opera and a quiet walk in a forest, than a choice between a quiet walk in a forest and a quiet walk in a forest. And yes, a Wagnerian Opera is fake, that's the point.

I have destroyed all my own paths... it has nothing to do with Western civilization. People always blame society for their own problems.

It all begins and ends with the individual, everything else is external and irrelevant (within reason). I don't know why people tend not to embrace such a liberating truth.

Me either... I honestly like knowing that my destiny is up to me. People seem to allow others to keep them down. At least I know that I am keeping myself down instead of passing blame. I also know that I can pull myself back up again.

Yeah, personal responsibility always comes into play as well, and no one likes that.

I don't know what that means. It makes no sense though, and I like that.

I think it might refer to Thomas Pynchon, the writer?
