So, I don't know about the rest of you deadheads, but as a long time fan of psychadellic music, I can safely say without any sort of doubt that String Cheese Incident is the single greatest band in existence surrounded by a good vibe more powerful than any other band I've ever seen live (And I have seen the Dead!). I think String Cheese will end their careers just as significant (If not more) than the biggest acts in hippy music's history.

So, it is with tears in my eyes that I present this wonderful bit of news:

I truly broke down when I heard this news. Since I've become a fan of String Cheese (After the group disbanded), their reunion show this year at Rothbury 09 has been my only chance to watch them live, and it was the most life changing show I have ever seen. Completely and utterly beautiful. When they weren't jamming the crowd's (Which was dancing in near perfect unison) face off, the crowd was hugging, crying, and in general just loving one another. 60,000 people united by music from the heart. There is nothing more touching.

I hope theres other cheeseheads around here who will also be enjoying this monumental tour. I'm stoked!!

Nice man, its no surprise with your name that you're a fellow cheesehead!

Yeah, me and my friends are actully getting together soon to discuss what we can do to finance touring with Cheese and figure it out by the summer. Worst case we all take up second jobs and just save save save! But we usually figure something out when we need to make some money and I'm sure we can work it out.

Festival tour sounds amazing. Thats definitely something I plan to do in upcomming years also. But Cheese is the closest band to my heart in existence so I absolutely have to do this.

Tell me how the show is in a few days!!

Reminds me of when I went to Bear Creek a day late last year cause I was too tired to drive up there friday afternoon. When I asked what shows I missed on Saturday, I found out I missed perpetual groove who wasn't playing again, broke my heart!

But sure enough the next time I saw them, they were incredible and put on their best performance yet! So I'm sure whatever cheese show you manage to catch will instantly make you forget the one you missed!

And I agree with your sig, lotta people would be way happier with their lives if they made an effort to smile a bit more.

^That's sick you know Hann, he is the shit.

Anyway, BumpinReel you seem eerily familiar to someone from my group of friends, almost as if you are one of them and I didn't know you were online. I had to make an account just to see. My friends in I all love Cheese - spiritually life changing band, went to Rothbury and are financially planning doing the whole tour for 2010.

Yes yes, it is true. I talked to Jason Hann a few months back and he confirmed that they are going to do a tour in 2010. I don't think it's going to be too big, but I'm pretty sure the whole country is going to see some dates, I'm for sure there will be at least one West Cost show (I asked him, I'm in SoCal).

By the way CHEESEHEADS, I have some soundboard mp3 live shows I bought off of LiveCheese, and I am looking for more live shows that I do not have. I would like to trade via mp3 or something of that nature.

Here are all the shows I have on mp3. All soundboard, no audience recordings. All purchased from LiveCheese.Com. I have:
    2002_04_12 Chicago, IL
2003_12_31 Chicago, IL (3 set new years show)
2004_06_19 North Plains, OR (4 set Horning's Hideout [HH] ritual)
2004_10_31 Madison, WI (3 set Halloween show with lots of great covers)
2005_12_30 Sea of Dreams, San Francisco, CA, Night 1 (all the Sea of Dreams are AMAZING.)
2005_12_31 Sea of Dreams, San Francisco, CA, Night 2
    2006_10_07 Asheville, NC
2006_12_30 Sea of Dreams, San Francisco, CA, Night 1 (has ALL of 'Round The Wheel', played in order, for the second set. Very amazing to hear this whole album laid out)
2006_12_31 Sea of Dreams, San Francisco, CA, Night 2
    2007_07_21 Berkeley, CA
2007_07_28 North Plains, OR (3 set HH ritual)
2007_08_09 Morrison, CO (1st of the 4 day run at Red Rocks, last shows before 2009)
    2007_08_10 Morrison, CO (2nd day)
    2007_08_11 Morrison, CO (3rd day)
2007_08_12 Morrison, CO (last day of 4 night stretch, 3 set show)
2009_06_24 Denver, CO (private show, invite only I believe)
2009_07_03 Rothbury, MI (rothbury 2009, amazing)

Besides those shows, I have all their studio albums and Carnival '99. I'm really looking for someone who wants to trade some live mp3 material (soundboard quality only), please email me at psilocybonaut@safe-mail.net or AIM me at 'psilocybonaut'. I am mainly interested in ANY live String Cheese Incidents besides the ones I have, and I will do a fair trade. Die Hard Cheesehead Needs More Live Material But Low On Ca$h, Someone Please Help Me Out And I'll Help You Out!
