What are you/have you been doing today?

Been at my dads this week ^^ Been so ill over xmas. Glandular fever poking my immune system again ¬¬

Today me and my dad went shopping in Whitely, also known as 'Shitely' ^^ I got a winter coat thing, all waterproof and warm and stuff, annd a wooly furry hoody thing Sitting watching tele sipping beer ^^ so tired. Might just go to bed. Fark the new year xD

Advice needed: Quit uni at the end of second year, as I have taken all I need from the uni/degree I can, and the third yea will just be dissertation, and I don't think I'll be well enough/ have enough strength/ time to do any practical work. I did this course to get skills, not letters after my name. OR stay for the third yea and be 'responsible', get a big qualification, and risk having several mental breakdowns in the process? "I've started so I should finish"... "You will get further with a degree, who knows where you will end up, your degree might help"... Hm. Decisions. Cans any one halp?

 

Don't even bother quitting it's not worth it. I nearly quit in the second year I'm glad I didn't. So don't. I'm drubk. Not going out can't be arsed with packed bars and the like.

 

I hate new years. Everybodys drunk and stupid. I cant decide what to do. Go home and do nothing. Or stay at my parents and watch my aunts and uncles play wii fit. lol. Yay.

Lawls at drunkness ^^ I don't like the feeling of being drunk anymore 0.o

 

Coz my grades weren't good. But I managed to sort them out. I'm glad I didn't quit because it's opened many doors for my career in the voluntary sector. You may only want the experience, but it doesn't hurt at all to have a Ba to your name.

 

What did you do your degree in? Did you have other work to do ontop of your dissertation? I'm afraid I won't have enough time to do the practical work when I do my dissertation over the year or whenever I'm supposed to do it ><

 

I did Social Policy and Health Sciences. I had the option to do either a dissertation or a workplacement. I chose the work placement but the amount of assignments for that far exceeded the work and word count of a dissertation.

Dissertations are quite simple if you plan them in advance. I know it might sound a bit early but I'd start brainstorming the possibilities for a dissertation now and start writing it in May. That gives you a whole year to write and you can easily knock off a dissertation with your illness. Dissertations are ten thousand words if you did a thousand a week you'd be sorted with time for practical work. One guy I know started his dissertation a week before it was due in. He failed of course. But meh.

Uni is tight good drug connects,chillin people, and sooner or later youll get a bachelors and you can at least become a teacher at worst so you can live a decent life. I say stay in it I wasn't giving a damn my first year just blazin all day and getting trashed all the time and i still passed most my classes. I cheated got back in and tried a little harder and passed all my classes pretty good. Fuck getting sick on new years I couldnt even drink cause of the anti-biotics oh well at least imma eat some Carne Asada.

 

i started the day dancing to mstrkrft spinning AC/DC

then jammed out to lotus for 2 hours, fucking INTENSE!!!!

drove home listening to some folk music. on 95 going through philla we hit a back up at like 3:30am when we finally left the city. people were turning around and driving backwards on the highway so we got off at the exit then got back on up a little ways. it was a really really REALLY bad accident, one car had flipped and was lying on its side all crumpled, and that car hit a minivan and pushed the trunk in almost all the way to the captains chairs, it was really bad and we saw one of the bodies being taken. it made me kind of sad and made me hope there were no kids in the minivan.

on that note i hope everybody had a fun AND a safe new year.

ÍÍÍÍÍ,have a sore throat.my dad finally gave me his credit card number so I'm going to book tickets to England and buy a piercing gun. Husband is making us hot apple whisky's to soothe my soul. we need to go bulb shopping tomorrow. a lot of our house is lit by candles. beeeeeeeee!

Yesterday I've been to a hardcore/d'n'b rave party for NYE, the theme was "post-apocalyptic future" lol so I dressed accordingly. I celebrated my birthday too, so my friends spoiled me really bad. There was also a latin music party in the same building, at a moment I suddently decided to sneak in and see was it was all about. It was a really chic party, people were having business suits and glitter dresses so it was easy to see I was an intruder. I still managed to get a free drink before being kicked out ahahahah! :rofl: It was cool, I had a blast.
