this is true. but that doesn't mean CC can't be there for her. but it sounds like this girl is waaaaay to young to do any sort of personal evolution. you just need to let nature take its course, let her know of your friend's intentions, offer your advice on the situation and then listen to her when she wants to talk to you.

and while it is true that you cant change anyone but yourself, you can support others while they are going through change. change is painful a lot of the time. you need to do what you feel is right CC, and make a decision that you can live with. even if it turns out bad you have to be able to look back on it and see that you felt it was the best decision you could make at the time.

and just for the record, i think girls are having sex WAY too early nowadays. I was 16, doesnt anyone wait anymore?

My girlfriend who is 23, who ive been going out with now for over a year, was a former slut. It bothered me everyday, and still does slightly. My problem was that this girl was perfect for me in every way, we loved eachother truly at first sight. 1 problem. She has fucked many guys and was known to fuck n chuck guys, like they did to her. Every night of my life i contemplated breaking up with her just because of her sexual past. Everything else about her was perfect. Since she is in a differant age group as me, i didnt witness her slutty ways personally. I just heard about them from the older kids in my town. I was considered the coolest kid my age a year ago, because i was fucking one of the hottest girls in the town, even though she was a slut she was more portrayed as the sexy pornstar. This label me as a "pimp" or "player" to my friends my age but it didnt help my self esteem like you would think at age 17. I knew i LOVED this girl, but to my friends it was a matter of time before she litterally fucked me over.

That day has never came. We continue are faith towards eachother and have been going strong since late 2008. There have been many girls that came my way since i met my girl, but i realized NONE of them were worth breaking the girl i truly love's heart.

I dont really know how this is all relevant, but its my story. My advice to you man, is stick with your current girl. Theres a reason why you have lasted this long. Dont take her for granted. She is yours. You are hers. Embrace it and never let it go, man.
