    Hi fellows!

I'm soon 18 and it's about time to think abot college, and if I'm going to college, I would love to go in San Francisco Because I have dreamed of living there for quite a while now. So What I'm wondering; is there any college in the SF area, if not, where should I go instead?

By the way, I live in Sweden at the moment.

    Peace out!

There are many universities and colleges in and around SF. In just about every field of study, you'll find a college for it. The Bay Area, including (especially) colleges is very costly, but I'm thinking that you must have some $$ and scholarships if you live in Sweden & you're planning to attend school in SF. Where there's a will, there's a way. Best to you! :)

If money is an issue check out one of our community colleges here in the Bay Area. A good alternative to a four year school. You can't beat the price either!

The best college around that area is probably UC Berkeley, which is in Berkeley about 10 -15 mins from SF.

There is a University of San Francisco I believe but I don't know much about it and there is also a San Francisco State University. If you have the grades to get into Berkeley I would go for that, and try to live in Berkeley as well. SF is an amazing city but having grown up in the Bay Area and knowing people that live there I probably would not want to live in the city itself. It's pretty expensive, poor parking and very congested sometimes(although Berkeley can be somewhat the same on a smaller scale). Barring traffic at 15 mins max you can pretty much still go to SF any weekend.
