^^Was going to say that. Got it on DVD for Christmas and it is a pretty violent moive (although that is expected from a gangster flick)
Cannibal Ferox AKA Make them Die Slowly. It's great it has Sex, Drugs, and Cannibals. Peace Out, Rev J
When I read "ultraviolence", the first thing that came to mind was A Clockwork Orange. Not necessarily because it's that violent but it made me think of it nonetheless because the word is used in the movie. lol
The Devil's Rejects is pretty fuckin violent. I especially like the scene a guys face gets cut off and his wife is forced to wear it on her face. haha Fuckin classic
Dude that movie was dope. When Otis first came on in House of 1000 Corpses my first responce was "Holy shit it's Chop Top from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2!" I can still crack up my fiance imitating Bill Moseley. "Kiss my plate bitch!" Peace Out, Rev J
"the wild bunch" wasn't the most violent movie ever made but it was a pretty good movie.probably one of the earliest to use the slow motion technique that is often used today.
Dude, I just saw an English Movie called "Gangster No.1" with Paul bettany and Malcom McDowell. "4 star ultraviolence" as Alex used to say. Peace Out, Rev J
If you're in the mood for a true Gore fest, Hostel 2 ranks pretty well in the grosser than gross category. 1 was ok, but 2 took it up a step or five. And it's a bit old, but ""The Thing" by Clive Barker get's a bit messy. But if you're wanting plain old guns and shit blowing up, Blackhawk down, Platoon, Saving Private Ryan, Leon, Goodfellas and of course Pulp Fiction and Natural Born Killers come to mind. And Sniper is a pretty decent series of Shooter flicks.
It's interesting that you mentioned "The Professional," by it's European name "Leon." Peace Out, Rev J
