I'm in total agreement sista~I want to thank you for the immaculate thoughtfulness and really good, well thought out argument! Thank you for putting it out there! So far, the last 3 birth stories that I've been told have all had these extremely horrid interventions w/ lasting trauma to mother & baby. NO GOOD!

hey, mind if I get a little off topic? I just had my second @ home, and not one vag.check. My midwife arrived when I was crowning in the birthing tub! Completely healed the previous birth experience (failure to progress, transport, pitocin, neonatal complications... ykwim?)

She's beautiful! p.s. plate of placenta after...mighty tasty and I am just over 2 weeks no more pelvic pain, no lochia. Sha-zam...
