there any guide on how to take bud shots?

I've been trying to get a good picture of my green for awhile and I have some nice strain named Sasquatch. Lol. ( atleast thats what the stoners around here all call it).

My mom just got a new camera so I get the old one.

 

If you have a camera with a macro setting it will really help.

The best things to help the shot are:
Tons of light (like right under a lamp)
A really steady hand (I like to rest the camera on a steady surface to stablilize it.

The macro setting on a camera usually is indicated with a symbol that looks like a flower on a lot of cameras.

what kind of camera do you have? I try to make sure the lighting is good, with this new camera I have I don't have to worry about the lighting
