or am i? my doctor's office called me yesterday. eva said the the doc. want me to come in asap! that is almost always a bad thing! last week, my doc had me take a stress test. the week before that, i went in for a physical. after the doc check my blood presser, heart and, pulse; he wrote up a workup sheet and, me to go down the hall to the lab for an ekg. he did not like what he saw! he said i needed to have a stress test run on me; so, last week i did it. i was quite sure i knew what was going down. this thing happens to males in my family around 45 to 55 years of age. so, my doc had me sit down and, he said he got the results of the stress test. i said "don't tell me, i'm sure i know what it is... it is the begging stages of heart failure, that was what it is alright. well, i'm doing all the right things for it and, it seem i'm going to fit the same pattern as the other males in my family who have had heart failure which, is, live up into my 80's or 90's and, dying in my sleep from the heart failure. i'm not whining about the heart failure, fuck no! another 30 to 40 years of a high to good quality life, if i keep it in check... i've got nothing to whine about there! it is the other thing i'm whining about! the family that lives next door to me has me whining like a bitch! there son was taken to the hospitial last night. he has pneummonia with fluid in both lungs and, he is on a respirator and, the doctors have put him into a drug induced coma. BAD NEWS... VERY, VERY, BAD NEWS INDEED! what caused him to wind up in this horrid state? THE POOR BLOODY MOTHERFUCKER HAS SWINE FLU! the chances are quite good dale will die!:sad: dale was in tip top health but refused to get vaccnated aganist swine flu. i got vaccnated aganist pneumonia and seasonal flu back in october. i was only qualifity to get vaccnated aganist swine flu 2 weeks ago and, i did get it. NOW THIS SHIT HITS HOME!:willy_nilly: 2 week is not enough time to build up much of an immunity to goddamn motherfucking pig flu! am i now fucked and dammed to wind up like dale? i'm sweating blood here people! all i can do is wait and see. if i drop off of the screen here at hip forums, you can assume i contracted swine flu too. even though i'm worried sick about myself, my deepest concern and thoughts are for dale and his family! i'm helping them out here right now in their time of need.
another issuecould be that your issue your havoing with your heart can cooperate with the flu and almost indefinately kill you, thats what happened in Aust heapsof times Its very sad really. I hope for you health to stay as it was in your twenties
thank you both for your concern for my welfare! as for getting around my neighbor dale... that is 100% NO CAN DO! he is at the university of texas health science center and, the medical center hospital which is part of the university. dale is one lucky motherfucker because, the university and hospital are, one of best in the u.s.a. and, the world too. dale is in the intestive care isolation ward. that ward was set up for victims of bio-chemical warfare. this level 5 hot zone we're talking here. that is the worst there is... it don't get any worst then that! now as for my begainning stage of heart failure. that is not a risk factor at the stage i'm at. i, and everyone else who has been around dale about the last 3 week are, now confined to our homes for 3 weeks for observation. things like food etc. will be delivered to us. it is a goddamn pain in the ass yet, i shall maintain my voluntary quaratine. there is no way in hell i want to risk infecting anyone if i have contracted it!
see, the good news is that you know that you've had contact, and you are under observation. if you do contract the flu, you'll be able to get medical attention quickly. nearly always getting early medical attention is the key to getting well. the problems come when people don't get medical attention until its too late. so, i think you'll be just fine, even if you do contract the flu, because you will be able to get medical attention quickly, before the disease progresses too far. but most likely, i think you will be just fine.
I LIVE! the 3 weeks are over and i did not get sick! :cheers2: 2 other people in my neighborhood did get sick from the motherfucking pig flu, but their both at home recovering; it seem like they will be fine. my neighbor dale is still in the same condition. the doctors are now talking that he may become a vegetable case and need to be on life support for the rest of his life. i have not told his family about that though. the doctors are not telling his family the full truth of his condition. i worked for almost 17 years with people in medicine, and i know the doctors are worried that, most likely, dale has develop brain damage. it is just so sad! i have known dale since i was 11 years old and, we grew up together. my heart just aches sooooo motherfucking much for both him and his family! :sad:
