I certainly did! It dries quicker the longer I'm dreaded. I think with the way they look without any maintenance and the time it takes to dry I'm a lucky mofo.

It all depends on your hair type as to how long it'll take to knot. Everyone's different but it's usually 6 months plus.

Have You Read The Sticky At The Top Of The Forum Mainpage Yet.??

If Not, Please Pour Yourself A Nice Glass Of Wine, A Plate Full Of Cheese

And Assorted Munchies, And Read It...:)

All You Need To Know To Get Started Is Contained Therein...:).

Then Just Sit Back And Let Mother Nature Do The Rest.

Hey, while this is tellin us @ yourself, and my anwer will tell all @ myself, tell us @ yourself is about getting to know you.
I used to wash once a week. It's easy to keep track of. Sunday. If you miss it Monday. I would have more but drying.
All this natural stuff is superb but not necessary. If I got dandruff I would use the shampoo that feels like it's eating the skin off your scalp (cus it is) and then use conditioner to hopefully help rinse the dandruff out.
If the faq's don't tell you what you really want to know search or start your new thread.

wash your hair as often as your washed it before you started your locks. i would use non-residue shampoo. this tends to dry out your scalp more, so you'll probably end up washing less.

My name is Will, I'm born and raised in the greatest city in the world, Detroit! But right now I'm living in Australia. Decided to grow natural dreads a few weeks ago and I already love it.
