LSD, and delusions? LSD, and psychic ability? Just psychic ability?

I'd first like to mention I am personally leaving open the door for all possibilities. I do not confide in any conclusions about the psyche, my psyche, or a mystical world beyond our senses. Yet there is a sense of optimism I have about an expanded scope of awareness and connection, and take passion in educating myself about alternative ideas of the supernatural as well as mathematically conclusive laws of physics. All opinions are welcome, I seek them all as well as those of you that may have had similar experiences to share them and your beliefs.


Before Oct. 31st, 2009 I had always have heard voices around the time I'd go to sleep, although very muffled and nonsensical. Nothing I considered out of the ordinary. That all changed after that. On Oct 30th, 2009 at 4:30pm I took 2 hits of what I considered to be the most potent and pure blotter "acid" I've ever had with 3 good High School friends and a friend of ones whom I've never met before at my friends college. The night consisted of many adventures, the most amazing of which being the accidental quest to a big beautiful Oak tree we wanted to get to but our friend didn't remember how. Through faith we reached that destination by pure accident and highly unusual set of circumstances including unusual senses of energy. The tree was clearly a spot of gathering for fires. At the location we all witnessed a green burning meteor, that was actually existent.

Overall the night was extremely adventurous, destiny like, and euphoric. We were all awake with our eyes open and in conversation until 9:30 am in my friends apartment when we decided we'd shut off the lights, close our eyes, shut up and maybe try to sleep. The majority won in this decision because the person of whom I'd consider myself the personally closest to and who's negativity the trip was about overcoming disagreed with the idea. I found it very easy to clear my mind and drift into some deep relaxation. He blurted out "There's no way I'm sleeping." "Me neither," Said my other friend but we all continued to relax.

It was shortly thereafter that in my deep relaxation there was a vibration in my awareness in sync with the sound of my closest friends frustrated voice in my head, "I don't want to end it this way." I was startled but remained in the same realm of relaxation. My initial deluded reaction was that my friend was the one with psychic abilities (curiously I always considered the possibility he read my mind through our friendship) and he transmitted this thought to me. My own thoughts started to scatter in this relaxed state and I witnessed my own thoughts answered by thoughts on this weird vibrational frequency I thought was coming from my friend. I began conversation in which I was not responsible for his responses. Likewise I felt his body move (I was laying by his feet) in sync with certain parts of the conversation. I could hear noises such as signs and faint yes and nos coming from his actual being. I was traveling between two beliefs, one the fantasy that this was actual telecommunication, and other that I was having an amazing hallucination experience.

Then my other high school friend started having his vibrating voice occur inside my head in response to my thoughts. Then after him his girlfriend started piping in and soon there is one a conversation mainly between us 3 good friends with her occasionally. All the while in this deep state of relaxation that eventually led me to sleep. My new friend seemed to be in the deepest state of sleep with snoring and didn't pipe in at all. Except when I called his name in my head I envisioned his face clearly and it twitched and grunted (The kid has tourettes.) Haha.

Although it has decreased in intricacy, this is one aspect I have never come down from. Still on a daily basis, I hear (and feel in my head) voices in response to many of my own conscious thoughts, many of which come from people actually in my life that I hold on higher spiritual levels in relation to myself. They offer much advice as well as just clue ins to what I'm really feeling.

I can not account for these experiences on the supernatural or scientific level, only can I be sure that they even happen and in what manner. I do feel completely sane however. I'm open to and investigate theories of mental openness to information and energies beyond my own being.

 

Also should be noted that when I start drifting down the levels towards sleep there is a point of these unfiltered vibrations and voices, they flood my head but have much relevant information to be shared.

 

this reminds me of when i was in jail. but a little different. i'm definitely open to these ideas after that last experience. for me it was more vocal communication, but still very psychic in my opinion. actually, come to think of it, i've had these similar ideas happen another time on acid, and once on shrooms too when i went to the hospital.

i just want to compare experiences a bit.

for me it was more like there was a code to language. like people will be conversing, but there's like deeper hidden connotations underneath the words.

i can't remember if i've received thoughts from others or not

 

I can definitely relate to the the deeper hidden connotations underneath the words, it happened a lot on this specific trip. However, it happens every single day, in a snap of a finger my mental state can change and the symbols fly out of nowhere from each word someone drops, it is like they are being controlled by a greater force to say things that relate very dangerously to my life.

 

right! this is where the extraterrestrial theory comes from for me. obviously, this is all just theory that i play around with in my head.

but i like to think that perhaps extraterrestrials, atleast some of them, aren't necessarily beings. like maybe they don't necessarily have any form to them. but they communicate to us through us. we're almost like puppets that they use for their own expression or some weird shit.

and maybe they're functioning on a different dimension (perhaps the 5th dimension?), and their intelligence is unfathomable by us.

i need to type up my trip report of two days after the new years event. some really strange shit went on regarding this type of thing. no worries, there was no jail or trespassing or anything of the sort this time.

 

but i think it's important to be loose and open and playful about such ideas while recognizing that it could all be false. but it's like so what? the best scientists and thinkers make mistakes over and over and over again. it's the intention behind the ideas that i think is important...or something like that.

Some friends of mine once swapped places while tripping. Like, they saw and felt things from the perspective of the other. It makes no sense.

 

"There is only one mind". I've always liked that quote for this reason. It just goes to show you that we are all linked on subconscious levels, I've experienced these types of things many of times to consider it true in my own life.. even whilst not tripping. This kid was singing this song one day, and I thought to myself, "what the fuck is he singing", and he just said to me, "bitch you don't know Notorious BIG"? (responding as if he heard my tone of voice pretty much lol) And I'm like "Nathan, I didn't even ask you anything" lol. He's like "shit I do that sometimes".

Not to mention when I was tripping about 4 days ago, with a best friend I've been extremely close with for about 6 years now.. I was randomly thinking about this funny experience we had together, and then she brought it up the exact time I was thinking it.. and it happened 4-5 years ago. I'd like to think that it wasn't a matter of coincidence but rather the result of some psychic link or bond.

 

Or maybe whatever triggered the memory in you, also triggered the memory in her.

 

we are all connected on a subconscious level. it could just be that you are noticing more of the synchronicity in your life. of course the words that people speek are going to have deeper meanings related to your life, or atleast you are going to notice them. all your your experiences, all your actions, and all your reactions, are going to be a reflection of your inner self. your experiences are a product of your own thought, so they are always going to be directly related to you.

reminds me of when i was tripping this summer at bonnaroo. everyone around me was just like, a product of my thoughts and kept on saying and doing what i was thinking in my head. then all the land started collapsing in on me..

 

Well I began noticing the synhronicities awhile ago. But the voices? lol.

Don't tell me its normal to hear these voices.

 

i wouldnt get hung up on normalicy. take whatever it is for whatever it is.

Id love to read your trip report on this. I have always thought the same thing, except the part of aliens communicating through us. I believe theres a knowledge out there unfathomable by humans. And aliens aren't beings but some other thing also unfathomable by us.. no molecular structure, dna...

 

Wow finally somebody articulated one of another of my commonly experience paranoid ideologies that I experience heavily on acid. And .. in general now , lol. Gotta smack those machine people. It reminds me of a quote, the world will give you any experience you need for spiritual advancement..

well you aren't really hearing voices unless it's consensual. otherwise it is just your ego seeing reflections of the subconscious.

what do the people's whose voices you hear say? do you hear their thoughts? are you guided by their spirit? how about more on 'what' these voices actually are. can you explain the part about how "they happen and in what manner?"

 

Re(e)fer to my original post. Basically they're either a different pitch of my voice, a completely strange and new voice, or a voice of a loved one or someone I consider valuable. Yes they guide me. They offer insight into what I'm feeling, into the decisions I make. Other times it's entirely random things as if I were hearing their thoughts. That more so happens with people I know which is strange. And yeas, They're definitely voices. Call it reflections of my subconscious mumbo jumbo but I hear the words and with them a vibrational pitch. It feels like it resonates in my head.

I didn't even need to write that. You just needed to reread my original post. But hopefully I made more sense so you can determine just what this is exactly. Like a mechanical nuclear physical reduction of vibrational harmony quantum subconscious GOD? Maybe?

 

i just wasn't perfectly clear on what it was that you were experiencing. i'd say that your mind is experiencing reality on a higher level than you are used to. hearing voices like that is a psychotic tendancy. although, i prefer the term enlightened. but that's another story.

i'd say that the voices are a result of the collective unconscious, god, 'extraterrestrials', or whatever you want to call it, surfacing in your life. something like this, i view as quite fateful. what is revealed to you is going to be of direct relation to your karma and your actions. although in my experience there is alot of misguided static among the clutter. alot of the voices that you are hearing are probably meaningless hallucinations -- paranoid misinterpretations of nothing. what you need to learn to do is seperate out the real voices from the static, and follow them.

next time you think you are hearing someone's thought, then you should say something. that ought to give you a better check for what is 'real' or not. to seperate out the static.

i'm not quite sure what your looking for here though. no one is really going to be able to tell you what these voices are. only you know your mind, and only you can guide yourself. of everyone here you have the most authority to decide what these voices are, their legitimacy, and why you are hearing them.
