Hey everyone I recently found a super cheap source fo ammonia (non-sudsy) detergent free in the 1.75Litre bottles for a dollar. I took a look at the label but it doesnt have a list of ingredients, active ingredients or anything other than the usage and warning labels and on the front in bold it says DETERGENT FREE. Now where im getting at is, what extractions used this stuff and in place of what? Morning Glory/HBWR? MHRB? CoughSyrup/Tussin? im just taking a guess because i know on these forums i've read bits here and there on some Teks that used ammonia or something like that but my searches fail me..... can anyone link?
And who are we, to critisize, the sort of things that they do? For we shall see, and we shall find ammonia avenue
Dont bother with ammonia. Its kind of shitty for a wash. Its better to make up a sodium carbonate solution and wash with that. Its not useful for anything else you wanna do, really.
The only use that I know of for ammonia is the agent lemon DXM extraction, which I highly reccomend if you are interested in that side of things. It is found here http://www.dextroverse.org/extractions.html
You might be able to find out exactly what's in it by googling the exact name of the product along with "MSDS". That works for some brands.
