In the beginning

    In the beginning…

    actually I have no idea what happened in the beginning. No one does. In fact, there may never have been a beginning. A concept hard to grasp with our finite, chronological mind. What happened in the beginning is no clearer than what happens after we die. We are a lot like a child in the womb who makes huge assumption about what the purpose of life outside the womb is all about, based solely on what it hears from inside mommies belly. There is too much that we don’t know.

    Let me tell you what we do know. First we need a standard for measuring purposes. So we will say that what we can see with our eyes is fact.

    It is a fact that at one point in time all matter in space was in the same place. We know this because when we look at the stars we can see the evidence of this. Let me explain.

    All the stars are in motion, and for the most part that motion is moving away from each other. A good example of how, would be to put dots all over a balloon and then blow it up. The space between every dot is expanding. We have also noticed that the stars that are further away are moving faster than the ones that are closer to us.

    So you start calculating trajectories and you look at where they all came from and you find they all came from the same place at the same time. It was a big explosion.

    With what we know about physics we know that, that much matter in one place had to be a really big black hole.

    The best way I can explain a black hole is to compare it to what you know. You know a planet (you stand on it every day). So if you took earth and stuck it together with say 20,000 other planets about the same size as earth and let gravity due its thing. All these planets would smash together and eventually become one big ball. But this new earth would be different because the pressure from gravity would be so great on those atoms in the middle of the planet that they would be smashed together. And we all know what happens when you start smashing atoms. You get atomic and nuclear explosions. So now \ ]you have a star. If you were to take say 20,000 of these newly formed stars and jamb them together you would get something completely different. You would get a black hole.

    A black hole is a huge body of matter that is so big, that its gravity has become stronger than the speed of light. Say you were to fire a gun up into the air. As you know eventually the bullet falls back down. Well the same thing is happening with light from a black hole. Even though all this nuclear explosion action is going on, you can’t see it with your eyes because light, at 186,000 miles per second, is not traveling fast enough to escape the force of gravity.

    Atoms look exactly like solar systems. 99.99% of the mass is in the nucleus but, the nucleus only makes up .o1% of its size. The circling electrons make up 99.99% of its size. When forced into a black hole the electrons are smashed right down into the nucleus. Which in turn is smashed right out of existence. It is no longer an atom it and all its sub atomic particles are smashed.

    If you where to take the earth and smash it down to the size of a sugar cube, you would have a black hole.

    So on with the story of what we do know. For what ever reason this black hole became unstable and exploded. Now you have globs of this molten cesspool of particles flailing through space.

    Our particular glob is in the shape of a disk. As it spins and travels through space new atoms are beginning to form and the heavier ones are pulled into the middle of the spinning glob. Balls of matter are forming everywhere in the glob and these balls are growing as they collect all the loose matter.

    The smaller balls are trapped in orbit around the bigger balls as this matter fly’s through the vacuum of space. This is happening on all levels. on the galaxy level large clusters of new forming stars are rotating with billions of lesser stars following their rotation. On the solar system level new forming stars have trapped new forming planets in a never ending orbit. Meanwhile, new forming moons are trapped in orbit around the new forming planets. What each ball becomes depends on how much matter they accumulate before all the matter is gone.

    Now we look at our solar system, the newly formed earth is nothing but a fiery ball of molten lava. As the planets start to cool we notice that the inner planets become solid. While the outer planets become gas giants with no solid surface. The heavier matter was pulled toward the center, the center is where the sun is.

    Across the eons of time our planet starts to cool. First small patches of cooler spots appear, Like the sun spots we can see today. these little crust spots become bigger and more frequent. Eventually they form a solid crust around the earth. Meanwhile, all the gas matter has formed an atmosphere. This is a thick, hot and toxic atmosphere.

    Now the atoms have started forming into molecules. And after eons of time this ball cools and releases more and more into the atmosphere.

    Then it begins to rain and it rains until the entire planet is covered. Yea the planet was covered in water. No there was not one inbred family floating around with all the animals.

    It is a long time after this that the first whisper of life comes on the scene and from that first whisper comes all life that we know…..

    Meanwhile, back in space we have noticed that new black holes are forming at the center of every galaxy. And once a black hole has formed it does nothing but consume all matter around it, and it will continue to consume until all matter is gone.

    We don’t know why the one giant black hole exploded we only know that it did. and now we see the universe headed to that black hole again.

    Like I said , “there may never have been a beginning”. this could be a cycle that has gone on forever.
