Conan is going to walk. You'll be seeing him at 11:30, but not on NBC.

Viewership has dropped because Jay's show has destroyed the lead in into the Tonight Show.

Last night was hilarious, everyone is on Conan's side. Conan's show was hilarious. Letterman went on a rant on Conan and Fallon's behalf(not like Letterman hasn't been in the same exact spot before) Craig Fergunson ripped into them, and Jimmy Kimmel, my god I never use to have respect for him, he did the entire show dressed and in character as Jay Leno, and Chevy Chase came out dressed as Conan. Jimmy only broke character in the last 10 seconds.

As for Jimmy Fallon, fuck him, not only is he unfunny but he's now proven himself to be a spineless hack.

Friends is not a good show. I watched most of the first season when it first came out and it was lame - especially compared to Seinfeld which came out a couple years before Friends and yet was much more edgy.

Friends' success relied on cheap jokes, pretty actors, and a cushy timeslot.

I think it really depends from episode to episode. The first episode is the only one from the first season I know I've seen though - and that wasn't that good.
I think what really made Friends successful is the characters were written as if they were real (even though they acted a lil cartoony) and they were diverse enough for most people to pick out one to identify with or at least like.

Seinfeld's definitely way better though =P
