since it's super hard to get any high grades here im debating on buying a half an ounce and then separating them into bags of 8th's and just storing it in a ziploc container. but because i go through about an 8th a month, i was wondering would all that extra still be as good as when i got it 6 months from now? if i kept it in a baggie and in a container and stored away in a dark drawer. or would it be better just to get the 8th's every month from a dealer since they would be fresher? i do notice a small difference from when i first get it and a month later it crumbles and burns a lot faster probably due to being too dry.

The weed your getting normally is probably already older than the amount your planning on saving it... It won't make a big difference.

I've found old bags of weed and smoked them and they were perfectly fine.

Yeah jars are a best bet If you are going to save it. I have weed from like a month ago in a baggy still, I know its all dry and crumbley but it is still chronic so I plan on smoking it.
I have a question about this as well. Does weed go stale or anyhting if you save it too long in a bag? It seems like it just dries up and still gets you high am I right?

it should be fine. what i like to do is store it in a separate little baggies inside of pill bottles to carry around.

I had a little bit of weed inside a tictac box that I put in a really sneaky hiding spot in July of 2008. I forgot about it until last month. It was SUPER dry and crumbly, but it wasn't too harsh and still got the job done. So yeah, you should be fine. Store it in an airtight glass jar if possible.

I've smoked weed that was literally decades old... it dries out, gets harsh and turns to dust, but will still get you as stoned as it would before...

Keep in mind that if you get busted, one bag of weed can be considered personal (depending where you are and how much you have), but multiple smaller bags or containers (no matter the amount in each), is instantly a trafficking charge.
