Hello, my dear Brothers and Sisters! Today is a great day because I have found this beautiful site=) My name is Sue, I am from Chelyabinsk, Russia. I am 17 year-old hipp-girl who is fed up with her eternal companion-Loneliness...Sometimes it feels so great to spend your days alone and feel Free and Independent...But when there come gray and cold evenings, it's really hard to be cheerful and "bright"... Nevertheless, I'm hAppy that I'm hIppy=) While I can see that someone needs me, and my help is useful, I am proud to be that. It is a good reason for living, isn't it? So...If you can't live without things like classic rock and psychedely, art, philosophy, literature, if you are on the way of search the meaning of your life and your main religion is Love and Freedom, you may drop a line or send me a letter anytime! Love you, dudes! Peace and Love
Hiya, Hmm, so your my sister ?? I thought you ran off to Ierland and took my stash, nice to hear from you again, please come home we miss you.. Welcome to HF.. Peace
I can say that I've never been in Chelyabinsk, or any other part of Russia for that matter! The only Russian word I know is nyet, and it doesn't stand for New York Eastern Time! Seriously, I have the same time as New York City (close to 11 am here now). I think you would love it!
KL71, "nyet" is a very important word=p It's a great start for learning Russian xD Yes, I know that there's a big span of time between Chelyabinsk and New York=) Anyway, I wouldn't compare them! hehe)) And where do you live?
New Britain, Connecticut, USA, a city of about 72,000. It's about 9 mi/15 km southwest of Hartford, which is the state capitol. New York City is a bit over two hours away, depending on traffic. OK...I had also heard of "Glastnost" (spelling?) and "Stolichnaya", which I'm guessing is Vodka? (I don't drink.)
KL71, okay! Of course, I heard about your city I had a pen-friend from Connecticut=) You are talking about New Your all the time....Do you like it so much?=) "Glasnost' " means "publicity". Yes, you are absolutely right, "Stolichnaya" is a sort of Vodka=p And "stolitsa" is a "capital". BTW, I don't drink either. We will die healthy xD
Michael Phelps, I see...No, unfortunately, I haven't seen it yet=( I'm not a big fan of the cinema industry, I prefer books...=)
You have a pen friend in Connecticut? Wow! No kidding! That's good to know! Anyways, as for me, I've only flown twice and that was to Chicago, Illinois and Tampa, Florida, both times with SouthWest Airlines. I wanted to visit Canada soon. As for overseas, maybe England or France. Lastly, I read that you're past the Ural Mountains, so technically that means you're in Asia?
Actually, I live BETWEEN Europe and Asia That's strange, but funny! xD I hope to visit Canada too...My best friend lives in Toronto, he's Russian. I've already been to some foreign countries. P.S.-do you have msn or skype?=)
Yes, I do have MSN and that address is in my profile. I've never done anything connected to Skype though. As for Europe/Asia, I was always told that the dividing line for the two continents was the Ural Mountains. Oh well! Sadly, I have to leave for work here in a few minutes, so I won't be able to chat with you. Again, you may add me to your MSN list if you'd like. Take care!
