I can say that I've never been in Chelyabinsk, or any other part of Russia for that matter! The only Russian word I know is nyet, and it doesn't stand for New York Eastern Time!

Seriously, I have the same time as New York City (close to 11 am here now). I think you would love it!

New Britain, Connecticut, USA, a city of about 72,000. It's about 9 mi/15 km southwest of Hartford, which is the state capitol. New York City is a bit over two hours away, depending on traffic.

OK...I had also heard of "Glastnost" (spelling?) and "Stolichnaya", which I'm guessing is Vodka? (I don't drink.)

"Glasnost' " means "publicity". Yes, you are absolutely right, "Stolichnaya" is a sort of Vodka=p And "stolitsa" is a "capital".

BTW, I don't drink either. We will die healthy xD

You have a pen friend in Connecticut? Wow! No kidding! That's good to know! Anyways, as for me, I've only flown twice and that was to Chicago, Illinois and Tampa, Florida, both times with SouthWest Airlines. I wanted to visit Canada soon. As for overseas, maybe England or France. Lastly, I read that you're past the Ural Mountains, so technically that means you're in Asia?

 

Actually, I live BETWEEN Europe and Asia That's strange, but funny! xD
I hope to visit Canada too...My best friend lives in Toronto, he's Russian. I've already been to some foreign countries.

Yes, I do have MSN and that address is in my profile. I've never done anything connected to Skype though.

As for Europe/Asia, I was always told that the dividing line for the two continents was the Ural Mountains. Oh well!
