When I rail a pill that is stamped OC and 80 on the other side, I have no problems. However, when I rail the generic pill (same strength) stamped with an M and 596 on the other side, my nose gets clogged and stuffy after I rail. Later, I'll sometimes pull out a big jiggly booger from my nasal passage. I still get high, but it's uncomfortable. Anyone know why this happens?
The generic M596's have a built in mechanism that prevents people from snorting them. It is a clotting compound, thus the massive boogers up your nose. You notice that if you take off the coating and crush the generic pills, there are hard, rock like bits alongside the ubiquitous OC powder. Dabble77, the generic OC's you're talking about are oblong right? Not the perfect circle that the regular OC80s are, correct?
No, they look exactly the same, except for the markings. They are perfectly round. Even the color is the same. Maybe the manufacturer changed the shape?
Ahhh, I see. Those have an M with a box around it on one side I believe. Ya, those are generic, but there shouldn't be any problems. Most people I know just prefer the regular Purdue pharma kind.

Generic OC's suck. After you crush them are they like pasting up? I've heard that people came up with some tips on how to get around them getting all crappy. You just have to do a little searching.
I believe he has the 'off brand', not the generic. Dabble77, you can still snort the ones you have, your good to go. There should be no problem. Chemically, there isnt much difference between your "M"s and a regular OC80. Now those oblong OC's, those are a bitch. To get around the binding compound, the easiest thing to do is grind it up into as fine a powder as possible. You'll notice there are hard little white bits that cant be broken down. Thats ok. Scoop the entirety of your powder into a spoon. Heat the spoon with a lighter for approx 20-30 seconds. You'll see faint traces of white smoke come up. At this point, stop. Your powder should have clumped up. Use a knife etc to break up the bricked up clump. Reheat for about 10-15 seconds. If your powder/clump has turned yellow, its ok. Brown, you've burnt it. It is a fine line though, between a burnt waste and re-constituted OC. The heating process should eliminate the majority of the binding agent. After cooking it, take powder off the spoon, re-break it down into as fine a powder as possible, and treat yourself to an olfactory orgasm. Remember, brown=bad. Yellow(ish) = stop
M on a pill usually stands for mallikrodt and if they have waxy chunks take a safety pin and take them out
i dont have much experience with generic ocs as i just normally get the regular oc green 80s, but if your going to rail it i suggest you shave them down as opposed to crushing. if you find a hose clamp on any regular garden hose you can use that to shave the pill down and you will find you get a huge mountain of fluffy oc to rail as opposed to a small line of chunky dust. most users prefer that because it looks bigger but i like it just because its easier to absorbe and you can set up more lines, lots of ppl just like railing shit lol. but you can also use a cheese grader or theres a new thing called the ped egg but these are big opposed to the hose clamp which i would say is the best. i promise once you try any of those you will never crush an oc again. just a thought lol
Ya, I use a straightened hose clamp. It does a great job and almost none of the powder sticks to it. However, sometimes I feel like the powder is so fine a lot of it ends up in my lungs or on the back of my throat. When I use my pill crusher, it's chunkier and heavier, so don't get that feeling. Either way I get high. The pill crusher is great when I have to sneak a fix.
yea i use a big hose clamp, so it comes out in shavings, like sticks. and it hits my nose hard lol mmm
