    Hey all,

I'm almost done with my studies (hopefull around March) and really would like to go travelling again! I'll probably stay in Europe (lack of money and not a fan of airplanes) but might drift off while travelling :)

I've done a lot of WWOOFing and this time I was thinking maybe doing something else, something with people. I have often felt lonely during my WWOOFing-experiences so any project with a team of volunteers would be good I guess :)

Most humanitary or environmental projects I read about require the volunteer to pay, to sustain the project, and I don't have a lot of money. Does any of you know an organisation or a place or people who have cool, free projects? Any projects really, from organic farming to building to disabled people to.....

I was also thinking maybe doing some fruitpicking to earn some money, any of you know a good place?

And another vague plan was to spend some time in a monastary maybe, do some work there and take time to just read and meditate. I know about Taizé in France, and a buddhist thing called The Dharma House, also in France. Anyone did something like this? Good experiences etc?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated :) I lost the man I love, I have no idea what to become with my studies and I feel totally stuck in a rut. I need wild plans for the future and some new inspiration and fresh perspectives :)

Thank you in advance and.. happy newyear!

    x Loes

I am kind of in the same position. I have just quit my job because I need to ahve a change and get away for a while. I am between India and inter railing around Europe, which I have heard is great fun. I am not looking to spend much either, but just live on the road and see what happens.

I was looking for seasonal jobs to get by and found this site http://www.pickingjobs.com/info.shtml

Maybe I'll see you around Europe. Good luck.

Sounds good! Thanks for the reply. Too bad I can only find work in the UK on that website. I might try the JoHo conpany, dunno if they exist outside of Holland though. Their website is in English: www.joho.org
Might also check out www.helpx.net but last time I checked they only had WWOOF-like work.

I found some in Italy on that site, but haven't emailed them yet. You could always just travel and then seek out some work.

If you fancy a travel buddy give me a shout.
