I know how you feel, people just do't want to believe that their own government may be behind the towers fiasco. There are a lot of sheeple asleep out there who just do not want to know the truth or don't care. I just left Above Top Secret because of their kook moderators who will not let truth flow, i was quickly becomming one of the most prolific posters there until they didn't like the idea of me trying to get the"real" truth out. I lasted 2 days. Hopefully the people here are a little more open-minded

Did you ever think that war profitiers may have a conflict of interest investigating for evidence of explosives in the World Trade Center disaster?

 

You ever think millions of people like you have tried investigating this, hell most people on this forum were teenagers when 9/11 happened already going through their "arggh, government!!!" stage before it happened. But nothing but random bits of information asininely tied together to make a conspiracy theory has ever been found.

Did you hear the one about how BBC live broadcasted the collapse of bldg#7 before it fell. The newscaster was talking to the camera with the building in the backround telling how awful it is that a 3rd stucture had just fallen. Pretty cool huh? Maybe that footage was fake.

1. We're not part of a conspiracy. Nobody told us what to say or do on September 11th. We didn't get told in advance that buildings were going to fall down. We didn't receive press releases or scripts in advance of events happening.

2. In the chaos and confusion of the day, I'm quite sure we said things which turned out to be untrue or inaccurate - but at the time were based on the best information we had. We did what we always did - sourced our reports, used qualifying words like "apparently" or "it's reported" or "we're hearing" and constantly tried to check and double check the information we were receiving.

3. Our reporter Jane Standley was in New York on the day of the attacks, and like everyone who was there, has the events seared on her mind. I've spoken to her today and unsurprisingly, she doesn't remember minute-by-minute what she said or did - like everybody else that day she was trying to make sense of what she was seeing; what she was being told; and what was being told to her by colleagues in London who were monitoring feeds and wires services.

4. We no longer have the original tapes of our 9/11 coverage (for reasons of cock-up, not conspiracy). So if someone has got a recording of our output, I'd love to get hold of it. We do have the tapes for our sister channel News 24, but they don't help clear up the issue one way or another.


5. If we reported the building had collapsed before it had done so, it would have been an error - no more than that. As one of the comments on You Tube says today "so the guy in the studio didn't quite know what was going on? Woah, that totally proves conspiracy... "

I believe 9/11 is not on Osama's list of crimes for being Most Wanted because it has never been proven he was responsible. I am not "into" Bin Laden or think he is good in any way, but scrutinizing that tape does reveal inconsistancies.
He does look different than almost every picture I have ever seen of him. This is explained by saying the film was re-sized.
He is writing with the wrong hand. I think the story is he is left handed and writes with the right hand. I really don't know what handed he is. The movie could have been released in mirror imaging too, probably for national security purposes, right?
He is also wearing gold which is against Muslim faith. Maybe it was fake gold.

Just because someone says/writes/prints/makes a movie about something doesn't make it true works for both sides of this gridlock.

 

No but considering Osama claimed responsibility for 9/11 right after it happened and has been behind numerous other large scale terror attacks it seems to make the most sense.

You can argue it's not Osama, but the fact is there's no proof it isn't, unless every single intelligence agency in the world is in some massive conspiracy. Don't you think Iran, Venezuela, Russia, ect would love to catch us in lie.

 

I thought the first tapes of him had him denying responsabiliy.
His name came up in the news probably in 90 minutes or less from the first plane hitting.
Then the grueling task of blaming him began.
The Taliban was the main opposition to running the oil pipelines to the Caspian Sea through Afganistan.
I wonder how that project is running now.

 

The 1st tape wouldn't have him denying responsibility. The tapes are always made in advance to the attacks as they have to be shipped out.

And you can't really think we invaded a country to build a damn pipeline, I hate that pipeline argument, do you know how much cheaper it'd be to just go around Afghanistan then to invade it. We're not even doing it, construction of the pipeline hasn't even started yet and it's being financed by the Asian Development Bank to help improve Afghanistan as they will get 10% of revenue for transit costs. The pipeline goes from Turkmanistan to India for Indian consumption, so either India wanted to invade Afghanistan, or we have something to gain from the nationalized Turkmenistan oil industry.
